The successful candidate will be working within our cloud native development team to develop and maintain new and existing products and will be managed by our Cloud Native Test Lead. You will be responsible for the hands-on creation of new test cases and helping to ensure the quality of our existing products through exploratory testing.
We are looking for a Test Analyst to join our Cloud Engineering Team, based in the UK, and requires RTW status.
Responsibilities
- Follow the agreed QA process and approach for both manual and automated testing, in order to align with the test & business strategy.
- Interacting with and coordinating the development and validation team and ensuring that effective communication takes place.
- Improving knowledge of business applications and user needs and expectations.
- Design test cases to a high standard, taking an approach suitable to an agile, fast-paced environment, according to the product teams' definitions of done.
- Contribute to developing test processes and improvements.
- Helping us to deliver value to our end users and increase the pace of that delivery
- Collaborate with developers to ensure test coverage of outlined test cases
- Exploratory testing against existing products and features.
Technical knowledge, skills, and experience
- Strong experience of working in a fast-paced, Agile environment.
- Excellent analytical and diagnostic skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Efficient task management and ability to prioritize work in accordance to achieving business objectives
- Risk identification and risk based testing
- Strong understanding of test approaches and techniques
- Strong focus on testing as a user and providing usability and feature fit feedback
- Passion for collaboration and having high engagement with software developers
- Experience of creating test cases
- Strong experience of testing at API layers
