This role is within the "Glasswall Engineering" department in the "Corporate IT Team" reporting to Glasswall's “IT Team Lead”. The “Cloud Support Engineer” is responsible for working closely with the business and fellow engineers to implement and maintain critical infrastructure elements as well as day to day support to meet our operations present and future business needs. 

You will be deeply involved in technology and engineering projects,  and a key member of a multidisciplinary team focused on delivering high-quality results, innovating and identifying key areas for improvements.


Cloud Support Enginneer 
 

Duties and Responsibilities

 

  • Owner of key IT issues: lead on research, diagnosing, troubleshooting, and identifying solutions to resolve IT issues.
  • Manage the IT support Helpdesk queues.
  • Responsible for standard procedures for escalation of unresolved issues to the appropriate internal teams.
  • Maintain and build Laptops, Desktops.
  • Maintain inventory and asset tracking.
  • Maintains Cloud Platforms (such as AWS, Azure, GitHub. Docker).
  • Participate as well as lead on select infrastructure projects.
  • Process all support requests (1st, 2nd, 3rd line support) within SLA and following procedural requirements. 
  • Point of Contact for escalation for 1st line support.

  • PowerShell Scripting

 

Skills and Experience Required 

 

  • 2-3 years’ experience providing IT support 
  • Experience with at least one Cloud Platform (Azure,AWS,GCP)
  • Ambitious with a strong drive to succeed.
  • Coachable, hardworking, and able to learn quickly.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal.
  • Willingness to learn and embrace new solutions
  • Project management experience is a plus
