Accounts Assistant

The Accounts Assistant will report directly to the Financial Controller.

Role & Responsibilities:
Your journey with us will encompass a broad range of financial tasks. Core responsibilities include:
- Sales Ledger Management: This involves raising and posting sales invoices, pursuing payments, and building robust customer relationships.
- Purchase Ledger Management: This involves posting purchase invoices to the accounting system with accurate coding and effectively deal with supplier inquiries.
- Bank Reconciliations: Daily reconciliation of all company bank accounts.
- Supplier Payments: Initiate bi-monthly payment runs for our suppliers.
- VAT Returns: Play a role in the assembly of quarterly VAT returns.
- Month-End Support: Collaborate closely with the Management Accountant on tasks, including posting journals and reconciling balance sheets.
Requirements:
- Unwavering attention to detail.
- Time-management prowess, especially when juggling high-pressure, deadline-driven tasks.
- A hunger to learn and grow, complemented by an intrinsic drive to enhance one's skills.
- Proficiency in multiple online platforms.
- Ability to thrive and contribute positively in a tightly-knit team.
- Rigorous commitment to our set financial controls.
- Advanced Excel knowledge, especially in Vlookups and pivot tables.
- An intrinsic passion for the tech industry.
Advantageous Skills:
- Familiarity with multi-currency businesses.
- Experience with Sage Intacct or a broad understanding of Sage.
- Previous exposure or interest in the tech and cybersecurity industry.
Qualifications:

- Eager graduates ready to dive into the exhilarating tech domain, with eyes set on prestigious accountancy qualifications like ACCA/ ACA.
- Experienced professionals boasting an AAT qualification, currently serving in a comparable role, and have already embarked on their ACCA/ACA expedition.
